Picture this: at dusk, while standing on or under the South Congress bridge, you begin to hear a flurry of activity coming from under the bridge. After much anticipation, you begin to see a stream of bats coming out for dinner. After just a few minutes there is a steady row of black like a running river through the sky. This is the largest colony of bats in North America and they come out every night from March to November between 5pm and 7pm.
